Terms of Use

The Forum is intended to be a place where all members can go to for information on all things relating to Vila Verde Resort. It is a place where discussion can take place on a range of subjects that are of interest to the majority of Owners. Those members who post on the Forum must do so in a polite and respectful manner at all times, and be mindful that they must do so within the Rules outlined below.

The following is not an exhaustive list, but represents the bare minimum requirement for the Forum to function as a place where individual members can go to read posts by others or post themselves in a safe and protected environment without fear of being abused, singled out, or victimized by other members.

PLEASE DO:

  • Post on the Forum in a polite and respectful manner
  • Post honestly
  • Post in a positive way when contributing to discussions
  • Keep discussions on a subject within the thread originally created for that purpose
  • Post on factual information you can substantiate if necessary
  • Be mindful that your view may differ from that of another member
  • Stay on subject and treat other members as you would wish to be treated

PLEASE DO NOT:

  • Direct your post to an individual, but keep discussion directed to the subject
  • Use bad language
  • Post gossip or hearsay
  • Post as someone else and/or use another member's log-in
  • Post provocative, outrageous, or pointless messages to invoke a response from others, i.e., trolling
  • Reply to posts in an abrasive or combative manner
  • Post any third-party advertising

The Forum Moderator(s), in conjunction with the Vila Verde Owners' Group Committee, have the final word on all things related to the Forum and conduct of members on it. If they feel a line has been crossed on any of the above, they reserve the right to either warn offending members and/or ban them from the Forum as they see fit. Furthermore, if it is thought necessary, and to protect the integrity of the Vila Verde Owners' Group and its members, they will not hesitate to freeze or remove posts and/or threads that are deemed to be unacceptable due to a breach of Forum rules.
